Sunblocks are physical blocks that absorb some rays and reflect back the rest and an important aspect of sun care. The primary one, zinc oxide, is now available in finely micronized form, which makes them transparent.
Zinc oxide (A Sun block) in particular blocks the full spectrum of rays all the way up to 380 nanometers (nm), covering very dangerous rays not stopped by sunscreens and other sun care products. Therefore, physical blocks, especially zinc oxide, are much more effective than chemical sunscreens in blocking UV-A rays and should be an important component of any sun block.

Shopping Experience: My husband and I windsurf so find ourselves in the water and sun A LOT. We are both fair skinned and light eyed so it isn't easy to make sure we don't get sunburned or skin damaged. When we use this sunscreen we NEVER get burned. This stuff doesn't sting your eyes - amazing! It's an awesome product and we both highly recommend it.
